Tobacco Task 2

Thieves in Calama assault a van with 600.000 pesos in cigars of Tobacco

In the second region of Chile, a thieves assault a van with 600.000 pesos in cigars and two cars also.
In Chile, the problem with the Tobacco is every time worst. In June 5, thieves with a gun assaulted a van with 600.000 pesos in Tobacco. The van was recovered about 1 hour after, but empty. The thieves used 2 cars more to transport the cigars.

That  occurred at 8:30 A.M in the road to Calama. The thieves surrounded the van with 2 cars (that were stolen also), and they forced the driver, with a gun in their hands, to get out of the van. After, the thieves entered to the van and they escaped with the van and the cigars.

The driver told this to the police. Initially, they couldn’t  find them, because the thieves turned off the GPS, but finally, they found the van in a Street. The van’s door and windows were broken and it was until now empty. The police are trying to find the thieves with their fingerprints, but they cannot find any until now. They are trying to find the owners of the 2 cars that were stolen by the thieves also.

A coincidence is, that 2 days before, were stolen 520.000 packs of cigars, but in this case, the police found the cigars and the criminals.

Tobacco In The School
Today, the Tobacco is one of the most important problems in the schools. It’s a problem that the schools have to resolve quickly.

The Tobacco is very big a problem in the Schools. An occasional smoking can finish in a serious addiction. In 2012, we could find that the 4.9 percent of the eight graders, the 10.8 percent of the tenth graders and the 17.1 percent of the twelfth graders had smoked. This is a big problem that the Schools have to resolve quickly. If this continues, 6.3 millions of kids under 18 years will die because of this. The kids will have serious diseases and they will be addicted to the Tobacco. The Tobacco is used in the adolescent like a gateway to the illegal drug use like Marijuana, Cocaine, Heroin, etc.

The Schools have a very important role of reducing Tobacco in the students. The Schools have many ways to reduce it: they have to forbid the Tobacco use by the students at the School, putting staff envigilatin that in all the areas of the School; They have to forbid teachers smoking in the Schools, because when they see people smoking Tobacco, they think that it is good, so they do it ; They have to do good events and programs about the bad of Tobacco to let them know that  Tobacco is bad; They have to  teach them about Tobacco because that helps them to get informed about the Tobacco and the consequences of it; They have to provide programs to the teachers, because when the teachers know about the Tobacco prevention, they are prepared to teach the students about it; They have to teach the parents and the families about it because they have a big influence in the students, so they have to teach them to no consume Tobacco; They have to offer projects about the consequences of Tobacco, because they learn about the Tobacco and that influence in the consume; When a student starts to consume Tobacco, they have to help him to quit  Tobacco because when someone tries the Tobacco and he likes it, it’s very difficult to quit Tobacco, independent if you want to quit ;  They have to adopt a firm policy of not accepting anything from any Tobacco company, like book covers or things like that because if they accept that, the students would think that the School is like in accordance with a Tobacco foundation, so they think that the Tobacco is good
