Bravehearth, The Great Story of William Wallace

The great movie of braveheart, it's a historical drama war film, directed and starring by the spectacular actor Mel Gibson and filmed in 1995.

This movie is about a 13th century scottish warrior, which name is William Wallace (Mel Gibson), who fought until the end to get the scottish independence and led the scots to the First War Scottish independence against the english, who were commanded by the King Edward I of England. This movie was based on the great poem of Blind Harry "The Actes and Deidis of the Illustre and Vallyeant Campioun Schir William Wallace"

Wallace saw his father's death and his brother's death, killed by the english, when he was a kid. After that his uncle Argyle, who took care of him and taught to read and write, took him out of Scotland. Years after, he came back to Scotland because he wanted to live in peace and in the place were he was born. Whe he came back, he married Murron in a secret way. When Murron was walking normaly a English soldier tried to rape her, but Wallace defended her and tried to escape from there with she. He scaped but she was not the same lucky. The English soldiers trapped her and she was sentenced to death. When he knew about that, all of his peaceful moments ended. He had a very clear target: Avenge his dead wife and get the Scottish independence. He was the boss of the Scottish revolution. This revolution took a lot of years and it had a lot of scottish victories and many Scottish joined to him, such as his friend Hamish Campbell and the crazy Stephen. Wallace was the fear of the english. He found and an unexpected ally, the princess Isabel, who was sent by the King Edward to negotiate with him, but she allied to him and became his new mistress. The king Edward sent all his army against Wallace, who heard this because of his mistress, Isabel. The irish joined him and fought against the big english army. The english army won and Wallace escaped after they trapped him and realize that Robert Bruce, who was supposed helping him, betrayed him  Wallace was a strong man, but without the noble support he couldn't do nothing, so he went to Edinburgh to talk with the english and the english trapped him. He had to say some words to be free, but he wanted to die saying, FREEDOM!
